Squash is one of the most rapidly developing sport disciplines in the world, we also have a growing number of players and courts in Poland.
In 2013, the biggest squash event in the country was the Individual Polish Championship. The event took place between May 23-25, 2013 in Poznań. Current best players from Poland participated, 64 male players and 32 female players. Agrobex was the naming rights sponsor of this major event.

Agrobex also supported the athletic development of Piotr Hemmerling, a gifted squash player from Poznań. Hemmerling is the Polish champion in U15s and U17s age categories, as well as the winner of Danish and then Irish Junior Open in U15s category. Among U15s players in Europe, the player from Poznań is ranked 3rd.

Night of Museums

Agrobex was among the sponsors of the Night of Museums event in Poznań twice (May 17, 2014 and May 16, 2015). On that day, cultural institutions provide not only free access to permanent exhibitions and expositions, but also a varied selection of accompanying events, which make the broad and varied program of planned events scheduled for this very evening even more appealing. We are delighted that we can be an active part of this event.

Teatr za jeden uśmiech (Theater for one smile)

Agrobex has been a part of the residential market for over a quarter of a century. The company’s policy focuses not only on quality, but also on pro-social activities. Therefore, Agrobex frequently takes part in charity projects or prepares free events.  An instance of such an event is the organisation of theater performances in hospitals in Poznań. On Monday, September 5, 2016, one of them was held at the Szpitalu Klinicznym im. Karola Jonschera (Clinical Hospital named after Karol Jonscher). A stay in a hospital is a challenging period, especially for the youngest patients. To make this time more amiable, to put a smile on their faces and to have a good time, the Krakow Theatre for One Smile pays a visit to children in hospitals and prepares magical performances for them. This time, on September 5, they visited the Hematology and Children’s Oncology ward at the Clinical Hospital named after Karol Jonscher in Poznań. The actors took the children to a fairy-tale world by performing a story entitled "Rycerz Bolko i Królewna z wieży" ("Knight Bolko and Princess from the tower". - We strive to visit children from hospitals wards at least once a quarter. Making everyone who attended our performance smile is something that we care for. We usually make it happen – says Sebastian Grochowicz, actor of the Theatre for One Smile.

The performance was interactive. Remarkable actors inspired children to not only watch, but also actively participate in the performance. The actor’s energy, as well as rhythmic cheerful music and jokes resulted in children thanking the actors with a smile and applause, despite their serious illnesses. What’s important, the youngest were given gifts from donors. The event was once again supported by Agrobex, which engages similar projects several times a year. - We are very empathetic when it comes to the needs of young patients. We strive to make children smile even for a little while. Theatrical performances and small gifts are a good key to this – emphasises Krzysztof Kruszona, Chairman of the Board of Agrobex.

Agrobex has also become a sponsor of the 3rd National Logistics Olympiad, thereby supporting the educational environment, which also prepares professionals for the construction industry. Furthermore, as Krzysztof Kruszona, the chairman of Agrobex noticed, "there was a time, when someone helped our education. Today, we can pay off this debt by supporting others".

Developers for Kids

For several years, Agrobex has been involved in projects organised under the common slogan "Developers for Kids". It is the only initiative of this type in Poland, when entities from one industry join forces to organise charity events, bringing happiness and fun to the youngest residents of Poznań.
